On these cold autumn days, I love to bake something to warm my heart. 🍂 Like this chicken and mushrooms skillet pie, so simple and so delicious. 😋❤️What’s your favorite savory pie? 😍

• 1 puff pastry sheet (store bought is ok)
• 450g chicken filet
• 300g mushrooms
• 1 tbs butter
• 1 tbs olive oil
• 1 bunch of green onions
• 2 tsp Dijon mustard
• 3 tbs sour-cream
• 1 tbs flour
• 100ml water or stock
• Fresh thyme to season
• Salt, pepper

Put the butter and the olive oil in a pan (it must be good for the oven too) on the heat. Cut the chicken filet in size-bite pieces and sear them in the pan. Meanwhile, cut the mushroom in slices, the green onions in small pieces. When the chicken begins to get colored, add the mushrooms and the green onions. Stir in the pan to combine. When the veggies are soft enough, add the water, the sour cream, the mustard and the flour. Mix well. Season with salt and pepper then add some fresh thyme.
Cut the puff pastry in a circle just a little bit bigger than de pan diameter (you can use a plate to make the round cut). Place the dough over the chicken mixture in the pan, using the fingers to push it into the edges. Brush with some milk or a yolk. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes at 200 °C until golden and puffed up. Serve hot with a salad aside.
